Teaching Philosophy

As an educator, Andrew is fueled by a profound passion for teaching and a genuine desire to understand the unique needs of each student. His approach transcends the traditional classroom setting, reaching into the heart of individual experiences and abilities.
Connecting with Students:
  • Andrew firmly believe that teaching begins with connection. By establishing rapport and understanding, He creates a safe space where students feel valued and heard.
  • Whether it’s drawing parallels from everyday tasks or tapping into their past sports and hobbies, he strives to bridge the gap between theory and personal experience.
Natural Ability and the Golf Swing:
  • Golf, like life, is a blend of art and science. He recognized that every student possesses innate abilities waiting to be harnessed.
  • Through patient guidance, He helped students integrate their natural movements into their golf swings. It’s not just about mechanics; it’s about translating those “feels” into consistent performance on the course.
Pathway to Performance:
  • With each student, He crafts a personalized “Pathway to Performance.” This roadmap encompasses their goals, strengths, and areas for improvement.
  • Together, we navigate this pathway, refining skills, building confidence, and achieving milestones. It’s a journey that extends beyond the lesson tee.
Understanding Errors and Self-Learning:
  • Teaching isn’t solely about imparting correct techniques. It’s equally crucial to understand what causes errors.
  • By empowering students with insights into their tendencies—whether on the range, during short game practice, or in course management—I equip them to learn independently.
The more they comprehend their own swing dynamics, the greater their progress.
