We both agree that the set of drills Jim described for us to practice as a result of Jim’s in-depth and easy to understand instruction based on his close attention to our capabilities and tendencies is allowing us to “fix” whatever goes wrong during practice sessions. The ability to self-diagnose our individual situations and correct problems without an endless series of “tune-up” sessions with a local “pro” really helps to build confidence. What was the most helpful part of the school? Simple, clear, uncomplicated instruction with great take-aways that allow me to recover from swing failure nearly immediately. What was the biggest disappointment? That golf could be taught with simple, clear uncomplicated instruction. The realization that improvement rests solely on the shoulders of the player. How did your game improve after attending the school? I have a swing that will last a lifetime and method for self arrest that can be employed at will. Jay’s simple, no-nonsense approach requires discipline, not magic. When my score goes up, it stays up until I break things down, according to plan, and find the flaw. And it always comes back.
