Indian Wells Golf Resort partners with the Bird Golf Academy to the exclusive site for Bird Golf’s Palm Springs Golf Schools

Indian Wells, CA – The Indian Wells Golf Resort, the highly acclaimed 36-hole resort golf destination in Indian Wells, California, and The Bird Golf Academy, universally recognized by their Trademark “The Ultimate Golf Learning Experience” ® today announced that they will be partnered to host Bird Golf schools. The Indian Wells Golf Resort will become the exclusive Palm Springs area site for the Bird Golf Academy, who also have locations in Arizona, Nevada, Florida, Georgia, Colorado, South Carolina, Tennessee and New Jersey.

Director of Instruction for The Bird Golf Academy, Jay A Ewing, elaborates why the Indian Wells Golf Resort was chosen as the latest in their collection of outstanding partner facilities: “Bird Golf is ecstatic with our new partnership with Indian Wells. Now in their thirteenth year of operation, the Bird Golf Academy is unique in the teaching arena. Bird Golf offers one or two student to one instructor golf schools. Each golf school is customized for each student individually. All of the golf professionals that teach for Bird Golf have been PGA or LPGA professionals for a minimum of 20 years. They include an LPGA National Teacher of the Year, PGA Master professionals and multiple award winning professionals, a US Open Champion and members of various Halls of Fame. It is the format and quality of golf instruction that separates Bird Golf from any other golf school in the world.

The Celebrity course, re-designed by Clive Clark in 2005 masterfully incorporates incredible water features and equally stunning views into his brilliant creation. The Celebrity was also host to the 25th Anniversary LG Skins Game in 2007 and again in 2008. The Players course, which underwent a complete demolish and redesign by John Fought, re-opened in 2007, is framed with the San Jacinto Mountains in the background and is a magnificent contrast in design to the Celebrity course.
